Anna Isabella Milbanke married Lord Bryon January 2nd, 1815. She was interested in math, so Lord Bryon insisted on calling her "Princess of Parallograms." However, He was very cruel to Annabella, even having an affair with her half sister, Augusta. Her parents helped her finally divorce him in 1816. Area of Paraellograms! (:

Today in geometry, we learned the formula for area of a rectangle, square, and paraellogram. Each of these shapes has the same formula: A=b*h or l*w. (base times height or length times width)  They have the same formula because all of these shapes are classifed as paraellograms!!! For example, Tennessee is the state most similar to a parallelogram and has a length of 440 miles and a width of 120 miles. A=440*120. The area of Tennessee is 52,800 miles squared. The actual area of Tennessee is 42,181 miles squared. Only about 10,00 off! Not big deal!

Chapter 10- Circles

Before Chapter 10, I knew many things about circles. Such as the radius, diameter, chord, and finding the area and circumference. However, after going through chapter 10, I have learned many new things about circles. Before, I never knew arcs existed. I have learned how to find arc measures. I have also learned about tangents and inscribed. I know this will help me in life because it is something ARChitects and developers use in their careers each day. I am still confused on secant angles..
